Located in the Baltic Sea resort of Mönchgut, right by the Hagensche Wiek bay, you can walk to the idyllic natural beach or set off from the accommodation towards Reddevitzer Höft. A scenic hike starts right at the house, taking you across Rügen’s longest and narrowest peninsula to the Reddevitzer Höft on the bay. The Reddevitz peninsula, also known as Reddevitzer Höft, is a narrow stretch belonging to the German Baltic Sea island of Rügen. It is part of the Mönchgut peninsula, connected in the southeast by a strip of land about 130 meters wide. The peninsula is over 4 km long and only 200 to 500 meters wide, ending in the west at Reddevitzer Höft. Well-developed cycling paths are easy to reach and lead to sandy beaches in Lobbe, Thissow, Baabe, Göhren, and Sellin. Activities: swimming, SUP (stand up paddling), sailing, boat trips nearby, a ride on the Rasender Roland (Sellin), hiking, cycling, fishing, Hanomag tours, Karls Adventure Farm in Zirkow, AHOI Bath and Adventure World/Sellin with sauna, steam bath, aroma grotto, Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek, a trip to Granitz hunting lodge, and much more. Relax, enjoy nature, or discover the nightlife in the nearby seaside resorts of Baabe, Göhren, and Sellin. Enjoy fresh fish or unique cakes. A wide range of restaurants completes your stay.
